The Gebrüder Maisel Brewery in Bayreuth existed from the 19th century in a red brick tower. Today it has been revamped as the Brewery Museum. It is still in use as a brewery, producing beers in its modern premises next to the tower. However, in the original building all of the original equipment is still in place and in working order. There is also a working coopers’ workshop, making barrels. Guided tours take the visitor through the whole brewing process.
