Luisium Palace is situated just outside Dessau. It is a Neo Classical and Gothic palace which was built in harmony with the landscaped gardens constructed around them. These gardens are in the English garden style and are considered gems in the region. They were gifted by Prince Franz to his wife Luise, whom the palace was named after. The tiny palace and its grounds form part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Garden Kingdom. They are worth the visit if you are in the area. There is a café here.
