The Landtag in Düsseldorf is the State Parliament Building of North Rhine Westphalia. It is a very distinctive, round building and a landmark of the city, built in 1988 to symbolise democracy, transparency and politics for the people. The building is located in the shadow of the Rheinturm tower, at the south of Dusseldorf’s Altstadt. Sadly tours of the building are not available, but it makes for some good photo opportunities.
