The House of World Cultures, or Haus der Kulturen der Welt, recently reopened following a period of restoration work. It is set in the former Kongreβhalle building with its impressive curved concrete roof and pond in front. Inside is an important centre for contemporary arts projects representing cultures from outside Europe through theatre, literature, music and film. The current programme can be found on the website or by visiting the building itself.
