The Grunewald Tower is a magnificent red brick construction to the south of Berlin in the town of Teltow. The town erected the tower in 1897 to mark the 100th anniversary of Kaiser Wilhelm I’s birth as a sign of gratitude to him. It is located alongside the River Havel. Visitors can climb the 204 steps to the observation platform to take in fantastic panoramic views over the surrounding Havel countryside.
