Dachau’s New Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in the city centre, set in a former factory near the city’s castle. The gallery covers paintings, sculptures, media, photography and experimental art. There are a number of exhibitions held each year, and many previous artists that have displayed work here in the past have gone on to international success, such as Michael Wesely and Budo Bohl. Indeed, because of this success, the New Gallery has become something of an attraction to art lovers and critics.
