The Art Library, or Kunstbibliothek, at Berlin’s Kulturforum specializes in literature covering the history of art. It houses 400,000 volumes of books and undertakes much research every year into the history of European art over the past 1,000 years to the present. There is also a collection of drawings and prints of architectural and ornamental designs, and houses the Lipperheide costume library. Modern advertising, graphic design, book design and photography are also included. 35,000 visitors come to the library every year.
